Dr R. A. Badwe, was appointed as Director of the Tata Memorial Centre with effect from 16th December 2008. Dr Badwe is an internationally acclaimed outstanding Cancer Surgeon and Research Scientist, having an experience of about three and half decades.  He is recipient of Gold Medals for his distinguished contributions in surgery and surgical research and was a Dorab Tata Scholar during 1974-1978.  He is an invited  Member of several professional bodies, viz  INCTR Governing Council, Brussels, Post graduate medical education committee of India MCI 2012, Council of Advisor for Science and Technology (CAST) of Open Health System Laboratories (OHSL), USA to name a few.   He is a post-graduate Examiner in M.Ch (Surgical Oncology) and M.S (Gen.Surgery) of AIIMS and several Universities in the Country.  In recognition of his outstanding contributions in the field of Oncology and cancer care of patients, the Government of India has recently conferred on him  Padma Shri award.  He has been awarded the prestigious Lal Bahadur Shastri National Award for Excellence in Public Administration, Academics & Management, 2013

Mr. Anil Sathe, Chief Administrative officer, joined The Hospital in 2000. He has basic degree in sciences, and MBA in materials management. he furthered his knowledge with PG Diploma in Hospital Administration. At TMC he has handled several portfolios and has wide experience in materials management and administration.
