1. a) For Fs- fresh tissue send immediately for Fs reporting. For outside- send tissue in saline b)For HPR- specimen is fixed immediately in 10% buff.formalin in wide mouth container with tight fitting lid or in refrigerator at 10*C-17*C

Turn Arround Time

1. a) For Fs report within 15 min. b) For HPR report:4 working days for soft tissue specimen if no special investigation required. 5 working days for specimens containing bones if no special investigation required.

Time for Additional Examination

Parafin blocks - 13 YEARS.

Sample Storage After Reporting
