NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Chief Engineer,Tata Memorial Centre, 6TH floor, Service Block, Parel, Mumbai – 400 012 on behalf of Director, TMC invites online item rate tender ( in two bid), for the work, “Construction of Bituminous Road towards Vasundara Building at ACTREC, Tata Memorial Centre, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai .” The details are given below:

PART B: NIT DETAILS :-
1.	Tender Notice No	TMC/CE / Road /NIT/02/2015 dt.21.07.2015
2.	Name of Work	Construction of Bituminous Road towards Vasundara Building at ACTREC, Tata Memorial Centre, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai
3.	Estimated Cost	Rs.25.00 Lakh
4.	Tender Document Fees	Rs.500/-
5.	EMD	EMD of Rs. 50,000/- to be submitted in form of Demand Darft / Pay Order / Banker’s cheque / Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR), issued by a Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, TMC. Note: EMD in the form of cheque will not be accepted. However the bidders may submit the EMD as follows: The bidders may submit the EMD in the form as prescribed above in favour of Accounts Officer, TMC.
6.	Performance Guarantee	The tenderer, whose tender is accepted, will be required to furnish performance guarantee of 5% of the tendered amount within the period specified in Schedule "F". This guarantee shall be in the form of Department's cash receipt (in case guarantee amount is less than Rs.10,000-) or Deposit at call receipt / Demand Draft / Pay Order / Banker's cheque issued by a Scheduled Bank (in case guarantee amount is less than Rs.1,00,000/-) or Government Securities / Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR) or Guarantee Bonds of any Scheduled Bank or The State Bank of India in accordance with the prescribed form. The earnest money deposited alongwith bid shall be returned after receiving the aforesaid performance guarantee.
7.	Security Deposit	2.5% of tendered amount.
8.	Completion Period	The time allowed for carrying out the work shall be 6 weeks. It shall be reckoned from 15th day of the date of issue of work order.
9.	Sale of tender	24.07.2015 (17.00 hrs) to 31.07.2015 (17 00 hrs.) (At the office of the Chief Engineer ,TMC, 6TH floor, Service Block, Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai – 400 012 )
10.	Pre-bid meeting	Pre bid meeting with individual bidder shall be held preferably on 04.08.2015 at ACTREC, Kharghar, after site visit.
11.	Date of submission of tender	On or before 10.08.2015 (15 00 hrs.)
12.	Opening of Technical Bid.	10.08.2015 (15 30 hrs.) in the Office of Chief Engineer ,TMC, 6TH floor, Service Block, Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai – 400 012 .
13.	Opening of Financial Bid.	Will be notified at a later date
