Sealed Tender is invited in (single bid) on behalf of the Director, TMC for carrying out the work mentioned below, which will be received upto 18/06/2015 in the office of the undersigned Tata Memorial Centre, Engineering Department, 6th floor, Service block Parel, Mumbai- 400 012, Phone No. 24177000 – Extn 4692 for the said work, from eligible contractors who have carried out the work of similar kind and magnitude.
EMD is required to be furnished in the name of Accounts Officer TMC, by way of Demand Draft / Pay Order / Cash / Fixes Deposit. If the contractor wishes to deposit EMD in cash a photocopy of the cash receipt to be attached in the tender. Tender which is incomplete or not accompanied by EMD as specified, will not be considered. Cheque will not be accepted as EMD. Sale of tender from 15/06/2015 to 17/06/2015 between 10.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs (excluding Saturday, Sunday & holiday).
Tender to be submitted in a sealed cover superscribing the name of work on the cover as given above so as to reach on or before 18/06/2015 at 14.30 hrs to the undersigned and the same will be opened at 15.30 hrs on the same day in the presence of tenderers or their authorized representative, who would like to be present.
The rate shall be inclusive of all taxes, octroi, excise etc. in force and no extra will be paid over and above the quoted rates. If rates are quoted net and M.W.C.T. has been shown separately, the same shall be reimbursed on production of proof of payment to the concerned authority only.
Income Tax at prevailing rates as may be notified by Ministry of Finance, Government of India will be recovered from the bill(s), certificate for the same will be issued by the Accounts Officer on request.
Any other taxes shall be deducted from your bills, as made applicable by the Govt. / Statutory authorities from time to time.
The contractor whose tender is accepted will be required to furnish by way of security deposit for the due fulfilment of his contract, such sum as will amount to 2.5% of the tendered value of work as security deposit and 5% of the tendered value of work as Performance Guarantee.
The Security Deposit will be collected by deduction from the running bills of the contractors at the rate of 2.5% of gross amount of the bill. The security deposit will also be accepted in the form of Bank Guarantee or Fixed Deposit receipts of Scheduled Banks or State Bank of India.
The performance guarantee equal to 5% (five per cent) of the contract value is required to be deposited within 15 days from the date of written order to commence the work, in the form of Bank Guarantee or fixed deposit receipts or Bank Guarantees of Scheduled Banks or State Bank of India.
The security deposit / Performance Guarantee shall be endorsed in favour of Accounts Officer, T. M. C.
The entire work is to be completed in Two Weeks in accordance with the time schedule unless otherwise stated.
Tender shall be valid for 90 days.
Tender documents for the above works can be had from the Engineering Dept. on any working between 10.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs on the dates and on payment as mentioned in cash (non refundable) along with application and on production of (a) proof of registration in appropriate class of contractors. (b) Bank Solvency certificate (c) Annual turn certified by chartered accountant for the last five years (d) List of works carried out during last 3 years (e) performance certificates (f) List of construction plant & machinery (g) List of Technical staff they possess. In addition, list showing the cost of work completed / in progress in the last 3 years, year wise shall also be produced for consideration for issue of tender papers. The tender document will not be sent by post.
The Director, TMC, reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders / quotations or allot part of the work to different agencies without assigning any reason thereto.
