NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Sealed Tenders (in single bid) are invited on behalf of the Director, TMC for carrying out the work mentioned below, which will be received up to 20/08/2014 in the office of the undersigned Tata Memorial Centre, Engineering Department, 6th floor, Service block building, Parel, Mumbai- 400 012, Phone No. 24177000 – Extn 4692 for the said work, from the eligible contractors who have carried out the work of similar kind and magnitude.
EMD is required to be furnished in the name of Accounts Officer, TMC, by way of Demand Draft / Pay Order / Cash/Fixed Deposit of Scheduled Bank . Photocopy of the cash receipt to be attached in the tender. Tender which is incomplete or not accompanied by EMD as specified, will not be considered. Cheque will not be accepted as EMD. Sale of Tender from 07/08/2014 to 14/08/2014 between 10.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs (excluding Saturday, Sunday & Holiday).
Tender to be submitted in a sealed cover super scribing the name of work on the cover as given above so as to reach on or before 20/08/2014 at 14.30 hrs. in the office of the undersigned and the same will be opened at 15.30 hrs. on the same day in the presence of tenderers or their authorized representative, who would like to be present.
The rate shall be inclusive of all taxes, octroi, excise etc. in force and no extra will be paid over and above the quoted rates. If rates are quoted net and M.W.C.T. has been shown separately, the same shall be reimbursed on production of proof of payment to the concerned authority only.
Income Tax at prevailing rates as may be notified by Ministry of Finance, Government of India for works contract will be recovered from the bill(s), certificate for the same will be issued by the Accounts Officer on request.
Any other taxes shall be deducted from your bills, as made applicable by the Govt. / Statutory authorities from time to time.
A sum @ 5% of the gross amount of the bill shall be deducted from each running bill of the contractor till the sum along with the sum already deposited as Earnest Money Deposit, will amount to Security deposit of 5% of the tendered value of the work. In addition, the contractor shall be required to deposit an amount equal to 5% of the tendered value of the contract as Performance Security within the period prescribed for commencement of work in the letter of award issued to you. Performance Security may be accepted as Bank Guarantee of Scheduled Banks and State Bank of India.
The Security Deposit/Performance Guarantee shall be endorsed in favour of Accounts Officer, TMC.
Tender shall be valid for 120 (One Twenty) days.
The Director, TMC, reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders / quotations or allot part of the work to different agencies without assigning any reason thereof.
