ABSTRACT SUBMISSION 

Guidelines for Abstract Submission for EBM-2023

The theme of EBM-2023 is “ Prevention of Common Cancers” and will have two tracks. Track one will focus on the theme “ Precision in Prevention “ while track 2 will focus on “ New horizons in Cancer Prevention and Screening for Common Cancer sites". The cancer sites which will be focussed for discussions during the meeting include breast, cervix uteri, ovary, endometrium, oral cavity, lung, prostate, colorectal, gastric, and oesophageal cancers. 

We invite abstract submissions for EBM-2023 in the following areas

1. Prevention and screening for common cancers.
2. Risk stratification for screening.
3. Emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, polygenic risk score, liquid biopsies, and epigenetics in cancer screening and prevention.

• Please read all the instructions for abstract submission before preparing your abstract.
• Abstracts cannot be edited after final submission.
• Once submitted, an email confirmation with an abstract number will be sent.
• Abstract submission guidelines:
  • Abstract should not exceed more than 400 words (including title and 1 permitted table).
  • The entire submission must fit on a single page.
  • The submitted abstracts must be structured as follows:
    • Background
    • Material &Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusion
• Final submitted abstracts will be considered for review by EBM Abstract committee.
• Abstracts without results, or those with statements such as “the results will be analysed and presented later‟ are liable to be rejected.
• Deadline:Last date of submission 15th February, 2023.
  
  
• Acceptance:Selected authors will be notified by end of January. All notifications will be sent out to the e-mail address given on the registration. Accepted abstract authors can avail early bird registration facility for EBM 2023.
  
  
• E-Poster:Accepted abstracts will be presented as e-posters. Authors of top-scoring abstracts will be invited to present their work in a 'Best of Abstract session’ and the best abstracts from each track will be awarded a prize.
  
  
• Publication: Accepted abstracts will be published in the Annals of Oncology Research and Therapy
