Ascitic fluid smear from a 46-year-old male, who presented with complaints of abdominal pain and difficulty to eat solid food. The computed tomography (CT) scan showed irregular asymmetrical thickening of the wall of distal body, pylorus and antrum of the stomach with moderate ascites. The upper GI endoscopy examination revealed an ulceroproliferative growth in the antropyloric region. The serum tumor markers CEA and CA 19.9 were 10.9ng/ml and 38 U/ml respectively.
