Job Description (Medical Officer, Preventive Oncology):
- Provision of screening services in OPD, Community & City Clinic & Participation in training programs
- Providing health education & counselling to participants and family members in the community and hospital
- Performing initial assessment including history, physical examination
- Evaluating patients’ symptoms and recording progress notes
- Developing risk management and treatment plans for patients
- Maintaining Patients medical records to document all medications and test results
- Prescribing medications and providing patient education on medication use.
- Providing advice to patients on various topics related to their fitness, hygiene and cancer risk.
- Preparation of reports, Data Entry and analysis
- Participation in research studies, writing of project reports
- Any other duties as ordered by Hospital administration
Tenure of Services: The above-mentioned posts are on purely temporary and fixed term basis and extendable as per the requirement.
Note: The number of posts mentioned above are likely to increase/decrease as per the requirement of the centre.
