Gastric brushing smear of a 41 year old female presented with complaint of burning pain in epigastric region since one month. Patient had the history of parathyroid adenoma operated 4 years ago. The CT scan of abdomen and pelvis did not show any focal thickening, nodularity, mass, lymphadenopathy, metastasis or ascitis. Oesophago-gastro-duodenoscopy revealed 1 x 1 cm ulcer with everted edges in the proximal body of stomach and erythema with ulceration in the distal body of the stomach. Gastro-oesophageal junction and duodenum did not show any luminal or mucosal abnormality.
