Name of work: Providing Comprehensive Architectural consultancy Services for Construction of Hospital Building in Plot 3/330 adjacent to Haffkine Institute, Parel, Mumbai 400012, Maharashtra, India
1. Over view of Tata Memorial Centre:
Tata Memorial Centre is a Grant in aid Institute under the administrative control of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India and is fully funded by DAE. Tata Memorial centre (TMC) comprising of Tata Memorial Hospital and Advanced Centre for Treatment Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) provides comprehensive patient care, education, training and research in Cancer. The TMC is the largest territory cancer centre in the country and caters to the cancer care needs of patients from all over the country. The centre is also establishing similar hospitals in different parts of the country (Vishakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, Mullanpur in Punjab and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh) etc.
The Tata Memorial Hospital Building located in Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra is 75 years old and is a land mark building in the locality. DAE has sanctioned the proposal of relocation of Main building (TMH) and Augmentation of health care services in TMC, Parel, Mumbai.
Director, Tata Memorial Centre, Dr. Ernest Borges Marg ,Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India as part of a global e tender invites technical and commercial proposals for providing Consultancy and Architectural Services from qualified, experienced, competent and financially sound National and International architectural firms for preparing a conceptual Master Plan, architectural planning, and designing of various facilities and buildings towards setting up a State-of- the-art Cancer Hospital for TMC in Parel, Mumbai, India. The International Architectural firms are required to have either an Indian subsidiary or be a partner in consortium with legal sanctity.
Location: The site is situated adjacent to the Haffkine Institute, in Plot No. 3/330, at Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The site measures about 18,762 Sq.m out of which the proposed development is in the land area of about 10512 Sq.m. The site located in the heart of the city is accessible by road. The city of Mumbai is commercial hub of the country and well connected by rail, road and air in the country and to major cities both nationally and internationally.
The proposed structure should be iconic reflecting the stature of the Institution in providing Cancer Care. It should have state of the art facilities conducive to comprehensive and quality cancer care in the most compassionate manner.
Rs 21 Lakhs
Rs. 21 Lakhs to be submitted in the form of Demand Draft/Pay Order/Banker’s Cheque / Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR), issued by a Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, TMC.
OR
50% of Rs. 21 Lakh can be submitted in the form of Demand Draft/Pay Order/Banker’s Cheque / Fixed Deposit Receipt (FDR), issued by a Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Accounts Officer, TMC and 50 % in the form of Bank Guarantee of Schedule bank specified format as enclosed in the tender.
Note: EMD in the form of Individual Cheque will not be accepted.
Approx. 54 Months or till successful Defect Liability Period of Construction in all respect as required by TMC.

Note: The Director, TMC does not bind himself to accept the lowest proposal and reserves the right to reject either any or all proposals without assigning any reason/s thereof. Proposals which are incomplete or not fulfilling the requirements specified in the tender documents are liable to be rejected. Tenders with any condition including conditional rebate shall be rejected forthwith.
