Tender documents for
the above work can be had from the Dept. of Maint., Verification & Disposal Cell on any working day
between 10.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs on the dates and on payment as mentioned above
per set in cash (non refundable) on
production of a)application (b) List of similar works carried
out during last 3 years (c) License (d) GST Registration Certificate (e)
Performance certificates and completion certificate. In addition,
list showing the cost of work completed / in progress in the last 3 years
(f) The agency should have fully fledged office in Mumbai.

produced to Maintenance Verification & Disposal Cell for obtaining tender
document.

tender document will not be sent by post.
Earnest Money should be
deposited in the form of Demand Draft, Pay Order of any schedule Bank in favour
of Accounts Officer, TMH. Cheque and bank guarantee for Earnest Money Deposit
will not be accepted. Offer received without original receipt of EMD will be
rejected. EMD Receipt to be submitted in Technical Bid.
The rates
shall be inclusive of GST, labour, transport etc. in force and no extra
will be paid over the quoted rates. The contractor shall not claim any
increases in rates due to rise in cost of raw materials, operational cost etc.
and all inclusive charges accepted shall be firm throughout the currency of the
contract.
Income Tax at
prevailing rates as notified by Ministry of Finance, Government of India will
be recover from the bills / certificate for the same will be issued by the
Accounts Officer on request. Any other taxes / duties will be recovered as per
government notifications.
Tenders will be
received on 29/11/2019 up to 14.30 hrs in the Dept. of Maintenance,
Verification & Disposal Cell 1st
Floor, Main Bldg., Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai.- 400012 Part ‘A’ will
be opened on the same day at 15.30 hrs
in the presence of the attending tenderers. After opening of part ‘A’
(Technical Bid) the technical capability of the tenderers will be evaluated based on the following
points:-
- Financial capability and their
turnover during the last 3 years of equivalent amount or more of the
tender
- Technical capabilities of the
company in the light of the subject work (hospital experience)
- Nature of similar works executed by
the tenderers during last 3 years
- Work or Purchase order along with
completion certificate
- Bank Solvency Certificate of Rs. 3
Lakhs duly certified by bank authorites.
- GST Registration Certificate
(Preference will be given to agencies carrying
out similar type of works).
Part ‘B’ containing
Financial Bid will be opened at a later date and the date of opening of Part
‘B’ of the tender will be communicated to successful agencies that are
qualified by technical evaluation involving visit to the contractor ongoing /
completed worksite, office..
Conditional
Tender offer shall not be considered.
In case the treatment
done is not found satisfactory, during the period of contract, the contract
will be terminated by giving 30 days prior notice, and the Security Deposit
shall stand forfeited without prejudice to rights to take any other action
under the terms of contract. The job entrusted is to be completed in accordance
with the time schedule.
A sum @ 2.5 % of the
gross amount of the bill shall be deducted from each running bill as well as
final bill of the contractor as Security Deposit. In addition, the contractor
shall be required to deposit an amount equal to 5% of the tendered value of the
contract as Performance Security within the period prescribed for commencement
of work in the letter of award issued to you. Performance Security may be
accepted as Bank Guarantee of Scheduled Banks and State Bank of India.
The job entrusted is to
be completed in accordance with in the time schedule. In case the work done is
not found satisfactory the contract will be terminated by giving 30 days
notice, and the Security Deposit shall stand forfeited without prejudice to
rights to take any other action under the terms of contract.
Income Tax &
Surcharge as applicable thereon, will be deducted from the total value of work
done as per directives of Ministry of Finance.
A certificate for such deduction will be issued to you by Accounts Dept.
on request.
The contractor shall
abide by the general directives and conditions of the Contract and contract
Health Regulations or any other directives issued by the Management / State /
Central Government any other statutory body at any time during the execution of
contract. All the liabilities arising out of any provision of labour acts in
force and enacted from time to time shall be contractor’s responsibility.
The contractor shall be
required to obtain a license from the Commissioner of Labour under the
Contractor Labour (Regulation & abolition) Act 1970 and the Maharashtra
Contract Labour 1970 immediately and to observe and abide strictly by the rules
regulation frame there under, in case said act is Applicable.
Contractor shall have
to comply with all local State/Central and other Government rules, regulations
bye-laws etc. and shall be responsible for payment for all fees, duties taxes
etc. and such other dues or charges which may be liable under this contract.
Tender will be issued
to those who are based in Mumbai only.

accept the work in full or in part or reject the tender in full or in part
without assigning any reason thereof.
