Sealed Tenders are invited in Two parts i.e. Part ‘A’ (Technical Bid) and Part ‘B’ (Financial Bid) for the following work from the Scrap dealers having adequate experience and capabilities to execute such magnitude of disposal work.
Name of work : Disposal of Waste Routine Scrap Materials as per list (other than Capital Equipment) on yearly contract basis to be lifted every day and as and when required on “AS IS WHERE IS BASIS” from 01.11.2019
to 31.10.2020 at Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel
E. M. D. : Rs. 50,000/-
Period allowed for contract : Annual
• This contract will be awarded initially for one year and may be extended for further two years on mutual consent with same Terms & Condition.
• This contract may be awarded to more than one agency
Cost of Tender document : Rs. 500/- in cash (non refundable)
Date of sale of tender documents : From 18/09/2019 to 09/10/2019 (10:00 am to 4:00 p.m.)
(excluding Saturdays ,Sundays & Holidays).

(Part A & B) : On 10/10/2019 up to 14.30 hrs. in the Dept. of Maint. & Verification Cell, 1st Floor, TMH Main Bldg., Tata Memorial Centre, Parel, Mumbai – 400 012
Opening of Part ‘A’ (Technical Bid) : On 10/10/2019 at 15.30 hrs.
Validity of Tender : 90 Days from the date of opening part-A
Tender documents containing all the details can be obtained from the Dept. of Maint. Verification & Disposal Cell, Main Building Basement (MB-B-011) on any working day between 10.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs except holidays on payment of Rs. 500/- by cash (non refundable) at our cash counter 1st floor Homi Bhabha Block Building. Also tender document downloaded from website has to pay Rs. 500/ in cash. Cash receipt need to be produced to Maintenance & Verification Cell for obtaining tender document. Whereas, for down load of tender document, cash receipt of Rs. 500/- is to be shown at the time of submitting the tender. In case the last date of sale and / or the date of receipt and opening of tender is declared as Holiday, the respective dates shall be treated as postponed to the next working day, correspondingly.
E.M.D. should be deposited in the form of Demand Draft, Pay Order of any Scheduled Bank in favour of Accounts Officer, TMH. Cheques and bank guarantees for Earnest Money Deposit will not be accepted. Or to be paid in cash ( A/c No. 439). Offer received without original receipt of E.M.D. will be rejected. Complete address should be mentioned on back side of the receipt.
Refund of E.M.D. of unsuccessful Tenderers will be made by NEFT/ Crossed Cheque only on submission of original stamp receipt issued by us.
Conditional Tender offer shall not be considered.
Tenders will be received up to 14.30 hrs on 10/10/2019 in the Dept. of Maint. & Verification Cell, 1st floor, TMH Main Bldg., Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai – 400 012. Part ‘A’ will be opened on the same day at 15.30 hours in the presence of the attending tenderers. After opening of part ‘A’ tender ( Envelop ‘A’) Competent Authority will evaluate the technical capability of the tenderers based on the following documents. Photocopy of (a) PAN Card (b) Registration Certificate of Establishment (c) Should have their own Godown (d) Proof of Address (e) Latest copy of I. T. Return (3 years) (f) current month of bank statement / pass book and (g) Latest Sales Tax Clearance Certificate (h)VAT Registration Certificate (i) original receipt of E. M. D.
Part ‘B’ containing Financial Bid of tender will be opened at a later date and the date of opening of Part ‘B’ of the tender will be communicated to successful tenderers who are qualified by technical evaluation.
The contractor shall abide by the general directives, and conditions of the Contract and contract Health Regulations or any other directives issued by the Management / State / Central Government any other statutory body at any time during the execution of contract. All the liabilities arising out of the any provision of labour acts in force and enacted from time to time shall be contractor’s responsibility.
The contractor shall be required to obtain a license from the Commissioner of Labour under the Contractor Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act 1970 and the Maharashtra Contract Labour 1917 immediately and to observe and abide strictly by the rules and regulations frame there under, in case said Act is applicable.
The contractor shall have to comply with all local State/Central and other Government rules, regulations bye-laws etc. and shall be responsible for payment for all fees, duties taxes etc. and such other dues or charges which may be liable under this contract.
Contractor shall lift the scrap twice in week i.e. Monday & Thursday if failed to clear the scrap on the given days one grace day will be given after that penalty of Rs. 1000/- per day will be charged if the material is not lifted for that day.
If the tender is accepted but the contractor fails to execute the contract, the amount of Earnest Money Deposit will be forfeited immediately.
In case the performance of the contractor is not found satisfactory the contract will be terminated by giving 30 days notice, the security deposit shall stand forfeited without prejudice to rights to take any other action under the terms of contract.
The Director,TMH reserves the right to accept the work in full or split in or reject the tender in full or in part without assigning any reason thereof.
