    Between Rs.40,000/- p.m. to Rs.90,000/-  p.m. (consolidated)

     

    Note:- The salary will be commensurate with the qualification and experience of the candidate.

    Duration of the position

    Initially for a period of six months, with performance-based renewal upto 2 years

    Essential qualification

    MD Pathology, MDS Oral Pathology or equivalent.

    Desired Medical Experience

    Pathology & Cancer diagnostic skills, familiarity with different management stages after cancer diagnosis, understanding of clinical trial including counseling and consenting patients, synoptic reporting, past relevant medical research.

    Useful additional experience

    Basic statistics, familiarity with usage of Microsoft Excel, SPSS and RedCap or similar software for data entry.

    Preferred Skills

    Prior relevant experience in handling pathology whole slide images

     

    Job Description

     

    Tata Memorial Centre is looking for a motivated and self-driven young pathologist to work along with the Staff Pathologists and HN Surgeons in the across disciplinary domain of Cancer Pathology, and basics of management, Digital Pathology, Cancer Imaging and Artificial Intelligence. During this period, it is expected that the candidate will gain knowledge, skills and expertise in oncopathology, Digital Pathology, Pathology Informatics, annotation skills, advanced statistical analysis, visualization and manuscript/grant writing skills. He/she will have ample opportunity to work in close collaboration with national and international researchers including and not restricted to pathologists, radiologists, medical oncologist, radiation oncologist, data scientists, AI programmers and mathematicians. There will be scope to see routine diagnostic oncopathology beyond project responsibility.
