OF SCIENCE (M. SC.) IN NUCLEAR MEDICINE & MOLECULAR IMAGING TECHNOLOGY
“Master of Science in Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging Technology”
(M.Sc. NMMIT) is a post-graduate
degree which will be awarded by the Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) Deemed
University. The course will be conducted at the Tata Memorial Centre and will
be followed by a mandatory one-year internship at the Tata Memorial Centre
and its outreach centres. The course will commence from 1st October 2021.
Only Indian Nationals can apply.
with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in any of the following subjects. B. Sc University recognised by UGC.
Correspondence course will not be considered
B. Sc in Nuclear Medicine OR
B. Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics,
Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology,
with Physics or Chemistry as one of the subjects in B.Sc.
B. Sc with above mentioned subject only can apply.

They will be considered subject
to submission of their B. Sc Results on the day of Interview
Selection will be based on the evaluation
of performance in written test followed by interview.
A fixed number of candidates (not exceeding
3 times the number of seats) will be called for the interview.

As much as
possible entrance exam will be conducted in Mumbai centre. However depending on the existing corona
pandemic situation at the time of exam, we may opt to take the exam online ie
Remote Proctored Assessment.
Based on the
entrance exam marks, the shortlisted candidates will be called for an
interview to Tata Memorial Hospital or it may be conducted via virtual
platform, depending upon the prevailing circumstance.
30 Years as on 02.08.2021 (Relaxable 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC).
2-years course + 1-year internship
College tuition fee will be charged Rs.50,000/-
First year: Rs.12000/- per month
Second year: Rs.15000/- per month
Third year (Internship period): Rs.18000/- per month
National candidate sponsored from
Cancer Centres / Hospitals
within National Cancer Grid of India for training will not be paid any
stipend nor undergo internship.
Training fee of Rs.50,000/-
will be charged per year
Selected candidates from outside
Mumbai will be provided hostel accommodation on availability. Hostel charges @10% of the stipend will be
deducted every month.
Cafeteria and library facility
who will be staying in Hostel will have to pay monthly charges to avail the
cafeteria services as per the package opted for.
addition to actual charges, refundable deposit of Rs.4000/- for diet and Rs.5000/-
for library will have to be paid to avail of these facilities.
Selected students will be covered
under Medical Insurance facility provided by the Institute on co-payment (20%
of yearly premium) which is Mandatory.

During the course, the student shall not
apply for any post or any other courses / P.G. studies / Scholarship or
appear for any examination or interview outside or if applied before start of
the training, the candidate has to give proper information to this
Candidates leaving the course midway will
have to repay the entire stipend amount and the total 2 years course fee.
All candidates must submit a certificate
from Allopathy Medical Doctor confirming the health status (Physical &
Mental) of the candidate.
The decision of
the Director – Tata Memorial Centre, shall be final and binding.
