Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), Mumbai, invites applications from Indian Nationals for the following tenured posts (non-permanent) in the following Departments commencing from 01st August 2017.

A SENIOR RESIDENT [01 YEAR DURATION ) :

1	Anaesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain	MD in Anaesthesia OR equivalent PGdegree. Candidates who have passed DA exam with one year post DA experience may also apply. They will be interviewed if there are vacancies. They will be considered for JR-III. Note: CPS DA candidates are not eligible.
2	Radio-diagnosis	MD in Radio-diagnosis OR equivalent PGdegree. Candidates DMRD candidates may also apply. They will be interviewed if there are vacancies. They will be considered for JR-III.
3	Radiation Oncology	MD (Radiotherapy) OR equivalent PG degree.
4	Medical Oncology	MD OR equivalent PG degree in Medicine OR Pediatrics.
5	Nuclear Medicine & Molecular Imaging	MD OR DNB in Nuclear Medicine. Candidates with PG diploma will be considered for the post of JR-III if a post remains unfilled.
6	Preventive Oncology	MD in Community Medicine / Preventive and Social Medicine / Obstetrics and Gynecology; OR Masters in Public Health / Masters in Health Administration. If adequate numbers of suitable candidates with above qualifications are not available, then candidates with MBBS and Diploma in Public Health / Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology with minimum 2 years experience in Preventive Oncology will be considered for JR –III.
7	General Medicine	MD(Medicine) OR equivalent PG degree. Candidates with training in echocardiography will be preferred. In addition to routine general medicine duties, will be required to work in speciality clinics of cardiomyopathy clinic, HIV cancer clinic, cancer thrombosis clinic.
8	Cyto-Pathology	MD(Pathology) OR equivalent PGdegree in the respective specialty. Candidates who have passed DPB exam with one year post DPB experience may also apply. They will be considered for JR-III. [Post MD experience will be preferred]
9	Haemato-Pathology	MD (Pathology) OR equivalent PGdegree.
10	Microbiology	MD (Microbiology).
11	Paediatric Surgery	M.Ch (Paediatric Surgery) OR MS(General Surgery) with minimum 1 year experience in paediatric Surgery.
12	Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery	M.Ch / DNB (Plastic Surgery)
13	Bone & Soft Tissue	MS/ DNB (Orthopedics).
14	Uro Oncology	M.Ch OR DNB ( Urology)
15	Thoracic Oncology	M.Ch/DNB Surgical Oncology OR MS (General Surgery) with 1 year experience in Surgical Oncology.
16	Breast Oncology	M.S. (General Surgery) OR equivalent P.G. degree. Minimum 1 year experience in Surgical Oncology after basic qualification is preferable.

IMPORTANT GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS :

SENIOR RESIDENT & 01 YEAR TMC FELLOWSHIP - Rs.65,000/-

JUNIOR RESIDENT - Rs.53,000/-

This deposit will be forfeited if he/she leaves the SR / JR post before completion of six months.

The Fellows have to pay the fees and dues to HBNI as per existing rules. The fees structure of fellows is as under .

Fellows are required to pay Rs.15,000/- in cash (Admn, Reg., Lib., fees and Security Deposit) at the time of joining and remaining amount of Rs.1,65,000/- (Tuition, Appraisal, Exam and Convocation fees) will be deducted in 10 equal installments(Rs.16,500/-) from their Stipend

Senior Resident and Fellowship post at Tata Memorial Centre are considered as Part of P.G. Bond. (Those who have completed MCh/DM/DNB/MS/MD from Govt. & Municipal Medical Colleges, Maharashtra)

Candidates who have appeared for the qualifying exams in 2017 may also apply. If selected, their joining will be considered after production of passing certificate. Appearing candidates must submit their training completion certificate with the application.

Appointed candidates may be placed as per needs of the Departments in the Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai campus and the Clinical Research Centre, Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai campus by rotation as and when necessary.

All SRs and Fellows will be provided free sharing accommodation in one of our hostels at TMH/ Chembur/ Payalipada/ Anushaktinagar subject to availability.

All P.G. degree must be recognized by Medical Council of India. Documentary evidence of recognition is mandatory with the application.

The candidates who are in service must submit their applications through the Head of their Institution with a NOC.

Online applications in the prescribed form only super-scribing the post applied for on the cover with attested copies of all certificates should be forwarded to the OFFICE OF THE DIRECTOR (ACADEMICS), TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, PAREL, MUMBAI - 400 012. The Online application forms must be filled out completely in all respects. Incomplete applications and in-service candidates whose applications are not forwarded through proper channel will be rejected. The Tata Memorial Centre also reserves the right to reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons thereof. No other mode of application will be accepted.

General & OBC candidates have to pay the Online Registration Fees Rs.300/- by using Debit Card / Credit Card only. SC/ ST / Female candidates / Persons with disabilities are exempted from paying of fees while submitting application. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates shall verify their eligibility for the post before applying and making payment of application Fee.

Last date for online application is 31.05.2017 upto 05.30 p.m. & receiving hard copy of online applications within 07 days (i.e.07.06.2017) from the last date of Online application. Candidates should fill the form & take the print out upto the last date of online application (i.e.31.05.2017). The candidates are advised to submit online application well in advance without waiting for the closing date.

The Tata Memorial Centre reserves the right to cancel the posts, fix minimum eligibility standard / bench mark and restrict no. of candidates to be called for MCQ/Interview taking into account various factors like no. of vacancies, performance of the candidate etc., and decided to determine the qualifying marks for selecting candidates for the interview. Merely fulfilling the prescribed qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be called for MCQ/Interview. The Tata Memorial Centre also reserves the right to fix minimum eligibility standard / cut-off marks (Group/Stream/Discipline/Category-wise etc.) while finalizing such candidates to be called for interview as well as selecting the candidates for final selection after the interview. The decision of the Tata Memorial Centre in this regards shall be final and binding and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained with the candidates.
