“SIX MONTHS’ ADVANCED MAMMOGRAPHY IMAGING TRAINING COURSE FOR TECHNOLOGISTS” COMMENCING FROM 18.09.2019
Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH) announces an advanced Mammography Imaging Training Course only for Female Technologists.
The TMH Radio-Diagnosis Department is equipped with the state of the art modalities and expertise. The proposed course will cover theoretical, technical & practical aspect of Mammography. In house examinations will be held periodically and certificates will be awarded to successful candidates on completion of the course.
DURATION
Six months’ commencing from 18.09.2019
[ 6 months Training + 6 months Internship for Non-Sponsored ]
QUALIFICATION
B.Sc. in Radiological Imaging Technology from a recognized University OR H.S.C. with minimum two years Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology from a recognized Institution.

COURSE FEES
Non-Sponsored Candidates : Nil
Sponsored National Candidates : Rs. 12,000/-
International Candidates : Rs. 21,000/-
STIPEND
Non Sponsored candidates with qualification of B.Sc. or H.S.C. with minimum two years Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology will be paid stipend @ Rs. 8000/- p.m. (Rupees Eight Thousand Only) per month for a period of six months. No Stipend is admissible for Sponsored and International Candidates.
SERVICE BOND
Selected Non Sponsored Candidates will be required to execute an agreement to serve the Tata Memorial Centre w.e.f. 18.03.2020 on a consolidated remuneration @ Rs.12,000/- p.m. (Rupees Twelve Thousand Only) per month for B.Sc. and H.S.C. with minimum two years Diploma in Medical Imaging Technology candidates for a period of six months after successful completion of the training. No Bond is required for Sponsored & International Candidates.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
Selected candidates are required to deposit an amount of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) at the time of joining. The deposit will be refunded without interest on completion of the training course or after completion of the internship whichever is later. If trainee leaves the training at any time before completion of the training, deposit will stand forfeited.
Hepatitis B Vaccination should be completed.
All the outstation candidates are required to make a note that Accommodation will not be provided. The candidates shall make a online payment Of. Rs. 250/- as application fee on or before 05.07.2019 and submit the receipt copy alongwith application form to H.R.D. Department, 4th floor, Service Block Bldg, Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai - 400 012. No other mode of payment will be accepted. Female, SC/ST/OBC and physically handicapped candidates are exempted from paying of application fee while submitting application.
HOW TO APPLY: Eligible applicants would be required to apply ONLINE through the link given below.No other mode of application will be accepted.
For applying Online, the applicant must possess valid email ID and a facility to take printout of the Acknowledgement Receipt. All correspondence with the applicant will be done through email only. Information regarding offer letters etc. will be provided through email. Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of related documents will be of the candidate. Tata Memorial Centre will not be responsible for any loss of email sent, due to invalid/wrong email ID provided by the candidate or delivery of emails to spam/bulk mail folder etc.
The application can only be submitted after entering the Registration Slip No. The candidate must submit a recent passport size photograph, attested copies of all certificates regarding Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Experience Certificates, Caste Certificate, Physically Handicapped Certificate etc. along with the copy of online application form so as to reach the H.R.D. Officer, Tata Memorial Hospital, Dr. E. Borges Marg, Parel, Mumbai – 400 012 on or before 05.07.2019. Only committed applications will be accepted. The candidate will be responsible if the application is not committed online and submitted to H.R.D. Department.
During the period of training, the Trainee shall not apply for any post or any other courses/ P.G. studies / Scholarship or appear for any examination or interview outside
Any trainee leaving or remaining absent from the training before completion of this course will have to refund the amount of stipend together with interest thereon as per the rates, as may be fixed by the hospital. Those candidates who are found below expected standards with consistent poor performance in studies will be terminated from the training course.
Persons working under Central/State Government/Autonomous Body/Semi Government Organizations and other Public Sector Undertakings must submit their application forwarded through the head of the organization.
Late & incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. No correspondence of any kind will be entertained. Last date for receiving applications may be relaxed by two weeks in respect of candidates working or training abroad provided they send a PDF version of the complete application with all relevant attachments before the last date.
Tata Memorial Hospital reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and marks. Merely fulfilling the prescribed qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be called for the interview. Tata Memorial Hospital also reserves the right to reject any of the application without assigning any reason thereof.
