“FELLOWSHIP IN PAEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY NURSING”- 3rd Batch
Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is pleased to announce career development opportunities in Paediatric Oncology Nursing. Applications are invited from eligible nurses for FELLOWSHIP IN PAEDIATRIC ONCOLOGY NURSING- 3rd Batch at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Varanasi. The Fellowship Program is One Year Duration. The details are as follows: -
1.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
a. At the end of the fellowship, the Nursing Officer will be able to describe the concepts, principles and standards of caring for a paediatric patient undergoing treatment.
b. Demonstrate enough understanding of the basic sciences relevant to the concerned speciality.
c. Acquire knowledge and develop skill in caring for paediatric patients.
d. Identify social, economic, environmental, biological and emotional determinants of health in each case, and take them into account while planning therapeutic, rehabilitative, preventive and promotive measures/strategies.
e. Diagnose and manage and provide appropriate care of the conditions in the speciality concerned based on clinical assessment, and appropriately selected and conducted investigations.
f. Plan and advise measure for the prevention and rehabilitation of paediatric patients suffering from disease and disability.
g. Demonstrate skills in documentation of individual case details as well as morbidity data relevant to the assigned situations.
h. Recognise the conditions that may be outside the area of his speciality/Competence and to interact with other disciplines.
i. Update oneself by self –study and by attending courses, conferences and seminars.
j. Undertake audit
k. Collaborate with other agencies and assist in utilizing resources effectively.
l. Teach and supervise Nursing officers and other allied health workers.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. M.Sc Nursing (Paediatrics) OR
2. B.Sc Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with 1 year of clinical experience.
3. Experience in an Oncology hospital for one year is desirable.

AGE LIMIT
30 years as (on 31.01.2024)
Note: Age relaxation will be given by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC ,10 years for Physically handicapped candidates and 5 years for Sponsored candidates who are working in Regional Cancer Centres, Government Hospitals and Cancer Hospitals.
5.
REMUNERATION
₹ 27000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) per month
No Stipend for sponsored candidates.
6.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
Selected candidates are required to deposit an amount of ₹ 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) at the time of joining. The deposit will be refunded without interest on completion of the training course or after completion of training whichever is later. If candidate leaves the training at any time before completion of the course and service agreement, the deposit will stand forfeited.

General Conditions
a. Last date of online application is 06.02.2024.
b. Candidates must send in their candidature through “Online Application” only through the link on our website viz. https://tmc.gov.in/training/frm_Registration.aspx
c. Candidates will be initially screened and called for interviews/written examination on the basis of the information provided on online application form.
d. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
e. Candidates who would be called for Interview / Written Examination / Skill Test are required to carry original documents along with one set of copy in support of the details furnished in the online application form regarding date of birth, qualifications, experience, caste, disability certificate etc., failing which such applicants will not be allowed to appear for Interview / Written Examination / Skill Test.
f. Non Receipt of Application: Tata Memorial Centre does not take any responsibility for non-receipt of application through Online.
g. The applicant must possess valid email ID and all correspondence will be done through email only.
h. For Inquiry: Candidates may email to academics@hbchk.tmc.gov.in No phone calls will be entertained.
i. List of Selected Candidates will be displayed on our website.
1. Application Fee:
a. Candidate shall pay the application fee of ₹250/- online using Debit Card / Credit Card.
b. Female candidates/SC&ST candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
c. The application fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
d. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
2. Accommodation: Sharing accommodation will be provided on chargeable basis, subject to availability.
3. Diet charges: Diet charge will be charged as per institutional policy.
4. Selection Procedure:
The selection will be made by the selection committee based on the merit i.e. marks obtained by the candidate in the Written Examination and Personal Interview. Decision of Selection Committee shall be final. Preference will be given to the candidates sponsored by Cancer Care Centres; other established hospitals providing comprehensive care to cancer patients and candidate keen to work with cancer patients.
5. Tata Memorial Centre reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and marks. Merely fulfilling the prescribed qualifications will not entitle an applicant for selection. Tata Memorial Hospital also reserves the right to reject any OR all the applications without assigning any reason thereof.
6. Legal Jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Varanasi only.
