NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Sealed limited tender (two bid) are invited on behalf of the Director, TMC for carrying out the work mentioned below, which will be received in the office of CE,TMC Tata Memorial Centre, Engineering Department, 6^th floor, Service Block building , Parel, Mumbai- 400 012, , Phone No. 24177000 – Extn. 4692 for the said work, from eligible agencies who have carried out the work of similar kind and magnitude.

Earnest Money Deposit is required to be furnished in the form of Demand Draft, Pay Order, F D. Receipts, Cash in favour of ‘Accounts Officer, TMC’. Cheque and Bank Guarantee will not be accepted. If the contractor wishes to deposit EMD in cash, he / she should obtain requisition from Engineering department and photocopy of the cash receipt should be attached in the tender. Tender which are incomplete or not accompanied by EMD as specified, will not be considered.

Sale of tender from 22/07/2019 to 31/07/2019 between 10.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs (Excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays).

The Tender is required to be submitted in two parts, sealed and super scribed on the envelopes the Name of work and Nature of the Bid i.e. Technical Bid (Envelope I) / Financial Bid (Envelope II) so as to reach on or before 06/08/2019 at 15.00 hrs. to the Office of Chief Engineer, 6th Floor , Service Block Bldg. The Technical Bid will be opened at 15.30 hrs on the same day in the presence of tenderers or their authorized representative, who would like to be present and Financial Bid of technical qualified bidders will be notified at a later date.

The rates shall be inclusive of all taxes excluding GST which will be reimbursed on production of documentary evidence.

The contractor whose tender is accepted will be required to furnish by way of security deposit for the due fulfillment of his contract. A sum @ 2.5% of the gross amount of the bill shall be deducted from each running bill of the contractor towards Security Deposit .In addition, the contractor shall be required to deposit an amount equal to 5% of the tendered value of the contract as Performance Security within the period prescribed for commencement of work in the letter of award issued to you. Performance Security may be accepted as Bank Guarantee or Fixed Deposit of Scheduled Banks and State Bank of India.

Income Tax at prevailing rates as notified by Ministry of Finance, Government of India will be recovered from the bill (s), certificate for the same will be issued by the Accounts Officer on request. Any other taxes / duties will be recovered as per government notifications.

The entire work is to be completed within 15 Days in accordance with the time schedule unless otherwise stated.

The job entrusted is to be completed in accordance with the time schedule.

Tender shall be valid for 90 (Ninety) days after opening of Technical Bid.

Canvassing in connection with tender is strictly prohibited.

All the submissions are to be signed and stamped on every page. Incomplete tenders (in such respects) are liable for rejection

A)	Part I – Technical Bid	1	a) Annual Income Tax return filed with I.T. Department. b) Certificate of Registration for GST c) Annual turnover of latest five year ending in March 2019 duly certified by Chartered Accountant.
		2	List of similar works carried during past 7 years with performance certificate, work order copies, etc.
		3	List of works in Hand indicating : i) Agency ii) Value of work iii) Stipulated time of completion iv) Present position
		4	Undertaking that the eligible similar work(s) have not been executed through another contractor on back to back basis.
		5	List of Plant & Machinery & Technical Staff
		6	Earnest Money Deposit should be submitted along with Technical Bid in the form of Demand Draft, Pay order, F. D. receipt - of the State Bank of India or Scheduled bank in Favour of Accounts officer, TMC. Cheques will not be accepted.

B)	Part II – Financial Bid / Price Bid	1	Schedule of Rates duly filled. The rates shall be inclusive of all but excluding GST.

The intending bidders must read all the tender documents. They should only submit bids if he considers himself eligible and he is possession of all documents required.

Tender cost shall not be refunded irrespective of qualified or disqualified bidder.

Submission of the tender documents after the due date and time (including extended period) shall not be permitted.

The Director, TMC reserves right to reject any or all the tenders or allot part of the work to different agencies without assigning any reason whatsoever.
