NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Sealed tender (in two bid) is invited on behalf of the Director, TMC for carrying out the work mentioned below, which will be received in the office of CE,TMC, Engineering Department, 6th floor, Service Block building, TMH, Parel, Mumbai- 400 012, Phone No. 24177000 – Extn 4692 for the said work, from eligible agencies who have carried out the work of similar kind and magnitude.

Earnest Money Deposit is required to furnish in the form of Demand Draft, Pay Order, FD Receipt, Cash in favour of Accounts Officer, TMC. Cheque and Bank Guarantee will not be accepted. If the contractor wishes to deposit EMD in cash a photocopy of the cash receipt to be attached in the tender. Tender which is incomplete or not accompanied by EMD as specified, will not be considered.
Sale of tender from 08/05/2024 to 17/05/2024 between 10.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs (Excluding Saturday, Sunday and holidays).
Technical bid (A) : Envelope containing EMD, GCC (Company profile / details, work experience, etc. to be submitted by the agencies)
Financial Bid (B) : Envelope containing Schedule of Rates duly signed and stamped as attached.
Both the bids (Technical & Financial Bid) to be put in 3rd envelope which shall superscribe the name of work on the cover as given above so as to reach on or before 21/05/2024 at 15.00 hrs. to the Engineering Department, 6th floor, Service Block building, TMH, Parel, Mumbai- 400 012, , Phone No. 022 24177000 Ext. 4692 and the technical bid will be opened at 15.30 hrs on the same day in the presence of tenderers or their authorized representative, who would like to be present.

The Financial bid of those bidders will be opened who fulfill the requirement of Technical bid i.e EMD, GCC (Company profile/details, work experience, etc. to be submitted by the agencies) at later date.
The rates shall be inclusive of all taxes excluding GST.
The contractor whose tender is accepted will be required to furnish Performance Security of 5% of the tendered value of the contract within the period prescribed for commencement of work in the letter of award issued to you. Performance Security may be accepted as Demand Draft, Bank Guarantee or Fixed Deposit of Scheduled Banks and Nationalized Bank. In addition a sum @ 2.5% of the gross amount of the bill shall be deducted from each running bill and final bill of the contractor towards Security Deposit.
Income Tax at prevailing rates as notified by Ministry of Finance, Government of India will be recovered from the bill (s), certificate for the same will be issued by the Accounts Officer on request. Any other taxes / duties will be recovered as per government notifications.
Any other taxes shall be deducted from your bills, as made applicable by the Govt. / Statutory authorities from time to time.
It will be the responsibility of the Contractor to get the character & antecedents of the staff and workers etc., engaged by him, for carrying out the work being awarded to him, verified from the police authorities, and produce the report of the verification to the Security at the gate under intimation to the Engineer-in-Charge of the work.
Completion period : 05 months (1+4)
i) Execution of work within 1 month from award of work.
ii) Support / other rectification work during monsoon, 4 months after completion of execution.
The job entrusted is to be completed in accordance with the time schedule.
Tender shall be valid for 90 (Ninety) days from the date of opening of Technical Bid.
Canvassing in connection with tender / quotation is strictly prohibited.
The Director, TMC reserves right to reject any or all the tenders or allot part of the work to different agencies without assigning any reason whatsoever.
