Sealed limited tenders are invited in Two parts i.e. Part ‘A’ (Technical Bid) and Part ‘B’ (Financial Bid) for the following work from the contractors having adequate experience and capabilities to execute such magnitude of similar types of works.

(3 Rounds of cleaning per year)

Contract Period         :           Two years

                                                This contract will be awarded for two years and can be terminated

                                                after a year if work is found unsatisfactory.

Opening of Part ‘A’ (Technical Bid) – on 18/02/2019 at 15.30 hrs. 

Validity of Tender     :  120 Days

Tender documents for the above work can be had from the Dept. of Maint., Verification  & Disposal Cell on any working day between 10.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs on the dates and on payment as mentioned above per set in cash (non refundable) on production of  a) application (b) List of similar works carried out during last 3 years  (c) GST Registration Certificate (d) Performance certificates and completion certificate. In addition, list showing the cost of work completed / in progress in the last 3 years (e) The agency should have fully fledged office in Mumbai.  

Tender Document downloaded from website has to pay Rs. 500/- in cash. Cash receipt need to be produced to Maintenance Verification & Disposal Cell for obtaining tender document. For down load of tender document, cash receipt of Rs. 500/- has to be shown at the time of submitting the tender.

The tender document will not be sent by post. 

Earnest Money should be deposited in the form of Demand Draft, Pay Order of any schedule Bank in favor of Accounts Officer, TMH. Cheque and bank guarantee for Earnest Money Deposit will not be accepted. Offer received without original receipt of EMD will be rejected. 

The rates shall be inclusive of GST, Labour, Transport, etc. in force and no extra will be paid over and the quoted rates. If the rates quoted and net and M.W.C.T. has been shown separately, the same shall be reimbursed on production of proof of payment to the concerned authority only. The contractor shall not claim any increases in rates due to rise in cost of raw materials, operational cost etc. and all inclusive charges accepted shall be firm throughout the currency of the contract. 

Income Tax at prevailing rates as notified by Ministry of Finance, Government of India will be recover from the bills / certificate for the same will be issued by the Accounts Officer on request. Any other taxes / duties will be recovered as per government notifications. 

Tenders will be received on 18/02/2019 up to 14.30 hrs in the Dept. of Maintenance, Verification & Disposal  Cell 1^st Floor, Main Bldg., Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai.- 400 012 Part ‘A’ will be opened on the same day at 15.30 hrs in the presence of the attending tenderers. After opening of part ‘A’ (Technical Bid) the technical capability of the tenderers  will be evaluated based on the following points:-

• Financial capability and their turnover during the last 3 years of equivalent amount or more of the tender
• Technical capabilities of the company in the light of the subject work.
• Nature of similar works executed by the tenderers during last 3 years
• Work order along with completion certificate
• Time & quality consciousness
• Tendency of the company with regard making extraneous claims and disputes
• GST Registration Certificate 

Canvassing in connection with tender / quotation is strictly prohibited. 

(Preference will be given to agencies carrying out similar types of works). 

Financial Bid will be opened at a later date and the date of opening of Part ‘B’ of the tender will be communicated to successful agencies that are qualified by technical evaluation involving visit to the contractor ongoing / completed worksite, office. 

Conditional Tender offer shall not be considered. 

In case the treatment done is not found satisfactory, during the period of contract, the contract will be terminated by giving 30 days prior notice, and the Security Deposit shall stand forfeited without prejudice to rights to take any other action under the terms of contract. The job entrusted is to be completed in accordance with the time schedule.    

A sum @ 2.5 % of the gross amount of the bill shall be deducted from each running bill as well as final bill of the contractor as Security Deposit. In addition, the contractor shall be required to deposit an amount equal to 5% of the tendered value of the contract as Performance Security within the period prescribed for commencement of work in the letter of award issued to you. Performance Security may be accepted as Bank Guarantee of Scheduled Banks and State Bank of India.

The job entrusted is to be completed in accordance with in the time schedule. In case the work done is not found satisfactory the contract will be terminated by giving 30 days notice, and the Security Deposit shall stand forfeited without prejudice to rights to take any other action under the terms of contract.

The contractor shall abide by the general directives and conditions of the Contract and contract Health Regulations or any other directives issued by the Management / State / Central Government any other statutory body at any time during the execution of contract.   All the liabilities arising out of any provision of labour acts in force and enacted from time to time shall be contractor’s responsibility.

The contractor shall be required to obtain a license from the Commissioner of Labour under the Contractor Labour (Regulation & abolition) Act 1970 and the Maharashtra Contract Labour 1970 immediately and to observe and abide strictly by the rules regulation frame there under, in case said act is Applicable. 

Contractor shall have to comply with all local State/Central and other Government rules, regulations bye-laws etc. and shall be responsible for payment for all fees, duties taxes etc. and such other dues or charges which may be liable under this contract. 

Tender will be issued to those who are based in Mumbai only.

The Director / Engineer “F” (Civil), Main. , Verification & Disposal cell reserve the right to accept the work in full or in part or reject the tender in full or in part without assigning any reason thereof.
