Applications are invited for the post of
BIOINFORMATICIAN
on Contract basis (initially for a period of one year) for our client
TATA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
located at PAREL, MUMBAI.

Qualification: Post graduate degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech / PhD) in Bioinformatics / Computational Biology or a related field with minimum aggregate 60% marks. Any correspondence course or long distance university degrees will not be considered.

Experience:  Minimum experience of two years in a reputed institute in utilizing bioinformatics tools and methodologies for the analysis of high-throughput molecular data, such as next- generation sequencing (NGS) data.

Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in bioinformatics, such as Python, SQL, and R.
Strong understanding of molecular biology concepts and techniques is desirable.

Experience with building bioinformatics pipelines for NGS data and familiarity with molecular biology databases and bioinformatics tools.        

At least one peer reviewed publication in pubmed indexed journal in the relevant field.

Remuneration: Between  Rs.30,000 /-   to  Rs. 35,000/-  p.m.                   

Job Location: Tata Memorial Hospital, Dr. Ernest Borges Road, Parel, Mumbai – 400 012.
