    BUSINESS ANALYST
    NATIONAL CANCER GRID-KOITA CENTRE FOR DIGITAL ONCOLOGY (NCG-KCDO)

    DESIRED PROFILE

    Industry Experience and Qualifications

    • Professional with 5+ years of experience in data analytics and/or requirements gathering.

    ·         Minimum 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry with a good understanding of healthcare-specific technologies and data standards.

    • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in a technology or data analytics-related field.
    • Relevant certifications in data analytics, healthcare IT, or informatics desirable.

    EXPECTED ROLE

    Drive data analysis and business requirements gathering for technology initiatives across NCG and NCG centers.

    ·         Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough stakeholder interviews and workshops to collect detailed requirements for various digital oncology initiatives.

    ·         Requirements Documentation: Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of requirements for digital oncology initiatives. Categorize and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with initiative goals.

    ·         Data Analysis: Utilize advanced data analysis techniques to process and analyze data and work with cross-functional teams to derive meaningful insights that contribute to the enhancement of digital oncology initiatives.

    ·         Technology Integration: Collaborate with IT teams to facilitate seamless integration of digital tools within the existing technology infrastructure.

    ·         Industry Research: Explore and recommend technologies that enhance the efficiency of data processing and analysis. Stay abreast of industry developments related to data standards (interoperability, privacy, security, etc.).

     

    Skills and Attributes

    • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to gather, document, and analyze complex requirements.
    • Good understanding of data structures and standards including data management, data privacy and security, data interoperability, and data analytics.
    • Proficient in using data analysis tools and technologies to derive insights from healthcare data. Good business orientation with the ability to support data-driven decision-making.
    • Strong desire to contribute to social impact at scale with a long-term view.
    • Excellent communication (spoken and written) and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
