Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the IOPBS-WCI 2018 organizing committee we are delighted to welcome you to the 7th International Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Symposium (IOPBS) in conjunction with the 16th Women’s Cancer Intitiative-Tata Memorial Hospital(WCI-TMH) Conference to be held at the Holiday Inn Resort in Goa, India from 26-28 October 2018.
We guarantee an intellectual conference amidst a background of cultural feast and scenery of Goa. WCI-TMH is a non-governmental organization established in 2003 at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. It aims to support patients with breast and gynaecological cancers and foster continuing education in these treatment disciplines. This is also the 7th IOPBS congress with the first two meetings having been held to Daegu, Korea followed by Tokyo, Japan; Taipe, Taiwan; Guangzhou, China and Bangkok, Thailand.
The theme of the meeting is “Aesthetics Complementing Oncology”. The scientific program of IOPBS is being designed to include all aspects of breast cancer surgery with special emphasis on oncoplastic surgery and breast reconstruction. Many eminent international and national thought leaders will be gracing the congress and share their experiences and expertise with the delegates. This state-of-art multidisciplinary symposium in addition to addressing breast aesthetic, oncolplastic and reconstructive surgery, will also discuss advances and controversies in imaging, pathology, radiation, and systemic therapies in breast cancer.
Goa is known as the “Pearl of the Orient” and a “Tourist Paradise”, and is located on the western coast of India in the coastal belt known as Konkan. We are sure that the Goan food and festivities will add to the color and flavor of the meeting and will help to make the conference a success with your active participation.
With warm wishes we welcome you to Goa!
