POST BASIC DIPLOMA IN ONCOLOGY NURSING – JANUARY 2022 SESSION
Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is pleased to announce career development opportunities in Oncology Nursing. Applications are invited from eligible nurses for POST BASIC DIPLOMA IN ONCOLOGY NURSING - JANUARY 2022 SESSION (1st Batch) at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Varanasi. This course is of 12 months’ duration (11 months in class room and one-month internship) and is permitted by Indian Nursing Council. The details are as follows: -

QUALIFICATION ELIGIBILITY
Educational Qualification:
Experience: Minimum experience of 1 (one) year after Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery/ B.Sc. Nursing is mandatory. Additional requirement:Should be proficient in reading, writing and spoken English. Note:Nurses from other countries have to register or get an equivalent certificate fromIndian Nursing Council.
AGE LIMIT
30 years as on the last of online application. Note: Age relaxation will be given by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for Physically Handicapped candidates and 5 years for Sponsored candidates who are working in Regional Cancer Centres, Government Hospitals and Cancer Hospitals.
COURSE FEES
Non-Sponsored Indian Candidates: Nil Sponsored Candidates: Rs. 27,500/- (Rupees Twenty-Seven Thousand Five Hundred Only). International Candidates:Rs.55,000/- (Rupees Fifty Five Thousand Only)
STIPEND
Non-Sponsored candidates will be paid a stipend of Rs.12,000/- p.m. (Rupees Twelve Thousand Only)during the course.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
Selected candidates are required to deposit an amount of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) at the time of joining. The deposit will be refunded without interest on completion of the training course or after completion of training, whichever is later. If candidate leaves the training at any time before completion of the course and service agreement, the security deposit will stand forfeited.
SERVICE AGREEMENT
Non-Sponsored candidates are required to execute service agreement to serve the Tata MemorialCentre on a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 27,000/- p.m. (Rupees Twenty-Seven Thousand Only) fora period of one year after completion of the course. Candidates are also required to take an indemnity Bond for an amount equal to the value of the stipend amount paid by the Tata Memorial Centre. Note:If candidate leaves the training at any time before completion of the training period, the security deposit of Rs. 10,000/- will standforfeited and candidate will have to refund the entire amount of stipend received duringthe training and Internship period together with applicable interest thereon.

General Conditions:
a. Last date of online application is 26.12.2021. The candidates are required to submit hard copy of the online submitted application form and supporting documents (passport size photograph, attested copies of all certificates regarding Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Experience Certificates, Caste Certificate, Physically Handicapped Certificate etc.) to theOffice of the Dean (Academics), DNT Block, 5thFloor, Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre, Sunderbagiya, Varanasi-221005 ON OR BEFORE 30.12.2021.
b. Candidates must send in their candidature through “Online Application” only through the link on our website https://tmc.gov.in/m_events/events/trainings.
c. Candidates will be screened and called for interviews/written examination on the basis of the information provided in online application form.
d. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
e. Candidates who would be called for Interview/ Written Examination/ Skill Test are required to carry original documents along with one set of copy in support of the details furnished in the online application form regarding date of birth, qualifications, experience, caste, disability certificate, etc. failing which such applicants will not be allowed to appear for Interview/Written Examination/Skill Test.
f. Non Receipt of Application: Tata Memorial Centre does not take any responsibility for non-receipt of application through Online or delay in postal email.
g. The applicant must possess valid email ID and all correspondence will be done through email only.

1. Application Fee:
a. Candidate shall pay the application fee of Rs.250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty Only) online using Debit Card / Credit Card.
b. Female candidates and SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying application fee.
c. The application fee paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
d. No other mode of payment will be accepted.
2. Accommodation: Sharing accommodation will be provided on chargeable basis, subject to availability.
3. Diet charges:
a. Rs.4500/- p.m. (Rupees Four Thousand Five Hundred only) will be charged for diet or as per institutional policy.
4. Selection Procedure:
a. The selection will be made by the selection committee based on the merit i.e. marks obtained by the candidate in the Written Examination and Personal Interview. Decision of Selection Committee shall be final.
b. Preference will be given to the candidates sponsored by Cancer Care Centres; other established hospitals providing comprehensive care to cancer patients and candidate keen to work with cancer patients.
5. Tata Memorial Centre reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and marks. Merely fulfilling the prescribed qualifications will not entitle an applicant for selection. Hospital also reserves the right to reject any OR all the applications without assigning any reason thereof.
6. Legal jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Varanasi only.
