WALK-IN-INTERVIEW
FOR “SIX MONTH’S CERTIFICATE COURSE IN ONCO- OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY”

Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH) announces a Certificate Course in Onco-Occupational Therapy, considering the ever increasing number of cancer patients in our country, to decentralize the oncology rehabilitation and make this special rehab care available to every needy cancer patient of our community. There is strong need to produce expert Occupational Therapists to meet the rehabilitation needs of cancer patients. This course aims at providing an in-depth knowledge in Oncology and Onco rehab to both graduate and post graduate Occupational Therapy professionals, there by generating advanced Occupational Therapy Services specialized in Onco care for the community.
This program will be focused on training Occupational Therapists in different conditions in Oncology and Palliative care.
The course will cover theoretical and practical aspect of Onco rehab. The learning program includes seminars, journal reviews, case discussions, and rotation posting in other disciplines.
One year, commencing from 01.08.2020 [6 months Training + 6 months Internship for Non-Sponsored]
Qualification
B O. Th / M.O. Th from recognized university and A.I.O.T.A. recognized Occupational Therapy Centers with minimum 55% marks.

Upto 30 years (as on 27.07.2020) Relaxable for sponsored candidates and SC / ST & OBC as per rules.
Course Fees
Non-Sponsored Candidates : Nil Sponsored National Candidates : Rs.12,000/- International Candidates : Rs.20,000/-
Stipend (for Non-Sponsored Candidates during 06 months training period)
B. O. Th Candidates: Rs.8,000/- p.m. (Rupees Eight Thousand Only). Per month M.O. Th Candidates: Rs. 10, 000/- p.m. (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) per month. for a period of six months. No Stipend is admissible for Sponsored and International Candidates.
Stipend (for Non-Sponsored candidates during 06 months internship period)
B. O. Th Candidates : Rs. 12,000/- p.m. (Rupees Twelve Thousand Only). Per month M.O. Th Candidates: Rs.15, 000/- p.m. (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) per month. No Stipend is admissible for Sponsored and International Candidates.
Security Deposit
Selected candidates are required to deposit an amount of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) at the time of joining. The deposit will be refunded without interest on completion of the training course or after completion of the internship whichever is later. If trainee leaves the training at any time before completion of the training, deposit will stand forfeited.
SERVICE BOND
Selected Non Sponsored Candidates will be required to execute an agreement to serve the Tata Memorial Centre w.e.f. 01.02.2021 on a consolidated remuneration @ Rs.12,000/- p.m. (Rupees Twelve Thousand Only) per month for B. O. Th candidates and Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand Only) per month for M. O. Th candidates for a period of six months after successful completion of the training. No Bond is required for Sponsored & International Candidates.
Please note that hostel facility will not be provided.
