The Department of Nursing and Department of Medical Oncology of Tata Memorial Hospital affiliated with SNDT University, (Continuing Adult Education Department) are happy to announce the commencement
ONE MONTH Certificate Course in Long Term Central Venous Access Devices (CVAD) from 01.04.2017.
Chemotherapy is one of the most important modalities of cancer treatment of hematological malignancies and solid-tumors. Central Venous Access Device is a safe and effective route for patients who require long duration of venous access. Oncology nurses need to develop high degree of skills in inserting, maintaining and managing the CVAD to provide comprehensive care to patients. Preference will be given to sponsored candidates.
Duration One month commencing from 01.04.2017 TO 29.04.2017. Qualification Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery/ B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent Equivalent Examination and should be eligible to register with the Maharashtra Nursing Council, proficient in reading, writing and speaking in English. Experience Experience of nursing in an Oncology Department for two yrs. is preferable. No. of Seats 10 (Ten) Course fees Sponsored Candidates : Rs. 4000/- (Rs. Four Thousand only) Non-sponsored Candidates : Rs. 2000/- (Rs. Two Thousand only) International Candidates : Rs. 8000/- (Rs. Eight Thousand only) All the outstation candidates are required to make a note that Accommodation will not be provided. Diet will be charged as per the rates of the Centre. Tata Memorial Centre will not be responsible for any loss of email sent, due to invalid/wrong email ID provided by the candidate or delivery of emails to spam/bulk mail folder etc.
The application can only be submitted after entering the Registration Slip No., DD Number. The candidate must submit a recent passport size photograph, attested copies of all certificates regarding Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Experience Certificates, Caste Certificate, Physically Handicapped Certificate etc. along with the copy of online application form so as to reach the H.R.D. Dept. Service Block Bldg, 4th Floor, Tata Memorial Hospital, Dr. E. Borges Marg, Parel, Mumbai – 400 012 on or before 10.03.2017 Only committed applications will be accepted. The candidate will be responsible if the application is not committed online and submitted to H.R.D. Department. Persons working under Central/State Government/Autonomous Body/Semi Government Organizations and other Public Sector Undertakings must submit their application through the head of the organization.
Late & incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. No correspondence of any kind will be entertained.
Last date for receiving applications may be relaxed by two weeks in respect of candidates working or training abroad provided they send a PDF version of the complete application with all relevant attachments before the last date.
