6 WEEKS’ CERTIFICATE COURSE IN HOSPITAL INFECTION CONTROL
COMMENCING FROM 20.02.2017

The Tata Memorial Centre (Tata Memorial Hospital) is a premier Institution in India engaged in education, research and comprehensive care of cancer patients.

Female or Male applicants are invited for 6 weeks training programme for doctors, nurses and other health care professionals for the prevention and control of healthcare associated infections. This course is conducted by Tata Memorial Centre and affiliated to SNDT University, Department of Adult Education and Extension Works and the Hospital Infection Society Mumbai-forum.  The scope of hospital infection control has clearly moved beyond those practices that are confined by the hospital walls.  Infectious diseases are the scourge of mankind and infection control is in global demand.  This highlights the need for evidence based training for healthcare professionals involved with the management of infectious diseases.  During this programme, the participants will develop an in-depth knowledge and skill in infection control and will be able to implement these skills in a wide range of health care settings. The faculty includes healthcare professionals from India and overseas.  This programme is tailor made for the implementation of infection control practices in a developing country. 

 Please note that candidate should bring their own aprons for wearing during the course.

Out station candidates may be provided hostel accommodation @ Rs.750/- p.m. for medical category and  @ Rs.600/- p.m. for non medical category during their training period subject to the availability of accommodation.  Diet will be charged as per the rules of the Centre. A sum of Rs.500/- p.m. will be charged towards transportation.

HOW TO APPLY:  Eligible applicants would be required to apply ONLINE through the link on our website viz. http://tmc.gov.in.  No other mode of application will be accepted. For applying Online, the applicant must possess valid email ID and a facility to take printout of the Acknowledgement Receipt.

All correspondence with the applicant will be done through email only.  Information regarding offer letters etc. will be provided through email.  Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of related documents will be of the candidate. Tata Memorial Centre will not be responsible for any loss of email sent, due to invalid/wrong email ID provided by the candidate or delivery of emails to spam/bulk mail folder etc.

During the period of training, the Trainee shall not apply for any post or any other courses/ P.G. studies / Scholarship or appear for any examination or interview outside 

Persons working under Central/State Government/Autonomous Body/Semi Government Organizations and other Public Sector Undertakings must submit their application forwarded through the head of the organization.

Late & incomplete applications are liable to be rejected.  No correspondence of any kind will be entertained.  Last date for receiving applications may be relaxed by two weeks in respect of candidates working or training abroad provided they send a PDF version of the complete application with all relevant attachments before the last date. 

Tata Memorial Hospital also reserves the right to reject any of the application without assigning any reason thereof.
