1. TA/DA will not be provided for attending TMC MCQ test followed by Interview or Direct Interview

2. Date fixed for TMC MCQ Test followed by Interview as per the schedule advertised cannot be changed or postponed.

3. List of candidates displayed on the website called for appearing CET / Direct Interview does not mean that they qualify the screening process.

4. Candidate called for TMC MCQ test does not indicate the candidate to be eligible for appearing TMC MCQ test. Candidate will be allowed to appear for Viva / Interview only if he / she satisfies the eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement.

5. Candidate whose names are missing in the Direct Interview list may produce the score card of National Eligibility Test and send by email at academictraining@tmc.gov.in on or before 11^th September 2023. If already shared PLEASE DO NOT SHARE IT AGAIN.

6. Candidate will have to bring the following original certificates:

a. Valid Photo ID Proof

b. Date of Birth Proof.

c. Address Proof.

d. Educational Qualification Degree and Post Graduate Marksheets (All Years / All Semesters)

e. Experience certificate if applicable basis the criteria mentioned in the project details.

f. National level entrance score card certificate.

Projects and Preference Filling

The educational background suited for the 27 funded PhD projects floated for October 2023 admissions is specified in the compilation of Individual project write ups accompanying this advertisement. While applying online, candidates should specify the project number that suits their background and interest.

Candidate was asked to fill the choice of preference for the projects advertised.

If missed filling preferences, they may fill on or before 11^th September 2023-05.30pm through - https://tmc.gov.in/PHD_PREF/LOGIN.ASPX

For filling up preferences, you may use your application form login id and password which you have already received in your email registered with application form.

All correspondence with the applicant will be done through email only. Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of related documents will be of the candidate. Tata Memorial Centre will not be responsibility for any loss of email sent, due to invalid / wrong email ID provided by the candidate or delivery of emails to spam / bulk mail folder etc

TMC reserves the right to increase the minimum eligibility criteria in case of receipt of large number of applications.
