“M.Sc. HISTOPATHOLOGY ADMISSION SESSION 2018-2019”
Homi Bhaha Cancer Hospital, Sangrur (A Unit of Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai) is a grant in aid Institute of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The institute provides state of art cancer care facilities and caters to entire Punjab and nearby states. HBCH, Sangrur is also a constituent college of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot. HBCH, Sangrur is successfully running various paramedical courses in affiliation with BFUHS, Faridkot. HBCH, Sangrur proudly announces First batch for M. Sc. Histopathology from session 2018-2019. This training program will be focused on advanced techniques in histopathology and Cytopathology. The course will cover theoretical, technical and practical aspects. It will include hands on training on the state of art equipments, routine histopathology, Cytopathology, special stains, immunohistochemistry, frozen section etc. with emphasis on quality control, calibration, sample collection and laboratory record maintenance.
DURATION
Two years duration, likely to commence from 01.12.2018 at Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Sangrur, Punjab (A Unit of TMC, Mumbai).
Qualification
This course shall be open to a candidate who has passed regular B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology/B.Sc.(MLT) degree with 50% or above marks from any
Recognized College/Institution affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health
Sciences, Faridkot Or any College/Institution situated in or outside the State of Punjab, running MBBS or MD/MS Courses, recognized by MCI or other competent authority of Central Govt. for this purpose.

Admission

COURSE FEES
Rupees 26,000/Annum.
STIPEND
Appropriate Stipend (Minimum 6000/ per month) for a period of two years will be given according to rules and regulations of TMC, Mumbai. Candidate may be required to execute compulsory bond after successful completion of the course. Student will be eligible for stipend in the bond period as per TMC rules and regulation.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
Selected candidates may be required to deposit security fee at the time of joining. The deposit will be refunded without interest on completion of the training course or after completion of the bond whichever is later. If trainee leaves the course at any time before completion of the training, deposit will stand forfeited.
SERVICE BOND
Selected candidates are required to execute an agreement to serve the Tata Memorial Centre for a period of one after successful completion of the course.
Late & incomplete applications are liable to be rejected. No correspondence of any kind will be entertained. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualification and marks. Merely fulfilling the prescribed qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be selected. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot also reserves the right to reject any of the application without assigning any reason thereof.
