Application Process

Applications are invited from Cancer Institutions and Research Centers for financial assistance for equipment and research projects under this programme. Detailed project proposals should be submitted to DAE in the following format –

Part A : Details of the project / equipment

a) Details regarding equipment / accessories / research projects.

b) Provision for space in the hospital / laboratory for housing the equipment with details.

c) Technical specifications and budgetary quotations in support of funds required.

d) Existing facilities, manpower and activities.

Part B : Support information with respect to the organization

a) Societal objectives of the organization and subsidy provided to the needy patients.

b) Optimal utilization and research objectives

c) Credibility and long term viability of the organization

d) Application of indigenous equipment /novel ideas / radiological protocol and procedures

e) Time frame of implementation of the project

Each of these points shall be considered for evaluating the Application Information missing against any point shall be taken as ‘nil’. A separate sheet may be attached for describing each parameter if enquired.

The duly completed application should be submitted to :The Joint Secretary (R & D), DAE, Anushakti Bhavan, Mumbai-400 001.
