Tata Memorial Centre is a stand – alone Post Graduate and Super Speciality institute as one of the constituent institute of Homi Bhabha National Institute (Deemed to be University) under Dept. of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. The institute is recognized by Medical Council of India, New Delhi for conducting MD, DM/M.Ch programmes in oncology and other related subjects (e.g. Anesthesiology, Radiology, Radiotherapy, Nuclear Medicine, Microbiology, Immuno-Hematology & Blood Transfusion Medicine, Pathology, Palliative Medicine).
During 2013 the intake capacity of Post-Graduate students was increased by three-fold to provide specialized and trained human resource in Oncology and related subjects in the country. Under Homi Bhabha National Institute, a Two-year certified Fellowship programme in sub-sets of oncology and other subjects is conducted with 20 Fellowships per year.
There are Six-month training programs for sponsored candidate from State Government Medical colleges, Central Government Hospital, Public Sector Undertaking Hospitals and Regional Cancer Centres across the country. Specialized training is provided in the field of oncology and related subjects to doctors from South East Asia Region and South African Countries.
Post Doctoral Fellowship programs and Ph.D programs are conducted at Advanced Centre for Training, Research and Education in Cancer at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai in Life Sciences and Health Sciences.
Specialists have been trained for the comprehensive cancer centres in Punjab and Andhra Pradesh which are to be commissioned.

All admissions are made through NEET – 50 % All India Quota & 50% State Quota. |
b) For DM / M.Ch. courses |
All admissions of DM / M.Ch courses are made through NEET – Online National Counseling Round from the year 2017. |

1 year Service Bond (Mandatory) |
All registered MD and DM / M.Ch. students have to submit bond of 1 year to serve at Tata Memorial Hospital and in any outreach centres as mentioned in the bond details |

1. MD Bond details : Attachment Candidates have to sign a bond of Rs. 25,00,000/- for one year service. Candidate will have to pay a penalty of Rs. 10,00,000/- for discontinuation of tenure for MD courses.
2. DM / M.Ch. Bond details : Attachment Candidates have to sign a bond of Rs. 50,00,000/- for one year service. Candidate will have to pay a penalty of Rs. 10,00,000/- for discontinuation of tenure for DM / M.Ch. courses.

Eligibility Criteria |
Candidates fulfilling the following eligibility criteria can apply.
M.Sc.(Nursing) : B. Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc Nursing IGNOU / Any Recognized University. 1 year experience Mandatory In a Hospital / Nursing Institution / Community Health setting.
M.Sc. (Clinical Research) : B.Sc in Bioscience/Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Biotechnology), B.Sc in Chemistry, B.Sc in Clinical Nutrition, Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science (B.Pharm), Graduate in Medicine (Allopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha), Graduation in Dentistry (BDS), Occupational therapy (B.Sc), Physiotherapy (B.Sc), Nursing (B.Sc), Paramedical technology.
