Describe (in 150 words) your most notable contribution in Service, Teaching or Research. : Helped Establish Framework for Screening, Diagnosis and referral of patients with Congenital Cranifacial defects, Oral premalignant and malignant disorders in 8 adjoining districts of North Karnataka Organised multiple outreach programs for screening and sensitising patients with cleft lip and palate and parents and the communinity at large towards the pathology, possible etiology, prevention and treatment outcomes with timely intervention. Helped organise Head and neck premalignancy screening and diagnostic camps in conjunction with oncologists, maxillofacial and ENT surgeons, helping sensitise at risk population in north karnataka towards the hazards of tobacco and alcohol Conducted an Audit of about 1000 patients treated for maxillofacial trauma over a decade at a tertiary maxillofacial unit. Data extrapolated from helped establish protocols in place currently to optimize critical and rehabilitative care for patients with maxillofacial trauma. Collaborated with team of faculty and residents in the planning and conduct of: a. Stepwise Neck Dissection and Flap Raising Course held in SDM Dharwad on March 2018 b. Master class on correction of secondary deformities in collaboration with AOMSI & RCS Edinburgh c. Sialendoscopy -Hands-on Workshop held in February 2020 at Dharwad d. ITI Hands-on Implantology Workshop held in March 2020 at SDM Dharwad

Any other information you wish to add : Enterprising maxillofacial Surgeon with a inclination towards Oral Oncology and Maxillofacial surgery and correction of congenital birth defects and orthognathic surgery. Interested to take up challenging endeavors to help establish a multidisciplinary unit to help optimizing preventive, surgical and rehabilitative support in a resource constrained setup. Interested to develop evidence to help develop low cost paradigms to the current poor accessibility driven Indian panorama.
