Peritoneal washing smears from a 70-year old female, who had complaint of post menopausal bleeding of one week duration. Ultra sonography (USG) scan of abdomen and pelvis showed 6 X 4 cm vascular mass protruding into the endometrial cavity. On pelvic examination, uterus was bulky and cervix was normal. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan showed large well-defined 5 X 6 cm mass inendometrial cavity with maintained endo-myometrial junction. Another few lobulated masses (4x6 cm & 5x6 cm) were noted within the myometrium.
