Pleural fluid sample of a 63-year old female, presented with complaints of cough, breathlessness and dysphagia of one month duration. Patient had a history of infiltrating duct carcinoma of breast 8 years back which was treated with surgery and chemotherapy. Chest X-ray examination showed massive bilateral pleural effusion. Computed Tomography (CT) scan of thorax showed diffuse circumferential thickening of the upper and middle esophagus just below the cricopharynx extending to retrocardiac segment with multiple enlarged necrotic paratracheal, supraclavicular and gastrohepatic lymphadenopathy.
