Dear colleagues

The Tata Memorial Hospital is happy to announce this update on pathology of lymphomas.

The last ten years have seen a prodigious change in the way we think and talk about lymphomas. The WHO lymphoma classification has outlined newer entities and today’s pathologists have their hands full of newer, challenging entities. Lymphoma diagnosis though, continues to be based on our antiquated hematoxyline and eosin, it is no longer simple and we have to our aid immunohistochemical and molecular markers. Today just diagnosing a lymphoma is not enough and we need to classify accurately so that we cater to the expanding field of therapeutics.

This workshop will offer us a chance to interact with and imbibe best practices from leading practitioners in this field.

We have Prof Muller Hermlink and Prof Miguel Piris who are what I would call, the Blue Book professors and Dr Yashoda Natkunam who shall share with us the vast Stanford experience on lymphomas. Besides them, our clinical team from medical oncology and pathologists from Tata Memorial Hospital will share interesting cases and valuable clinical information with us. We are sure this conference will be an invaluable learning experience for everyone involved and we keenly await your participation.
