As part of our Evidence Based Medicine (EBM) series. Tata Memorial Hospital is joining hands with the US National Cancer Institute (NCI), the American Cancer Society (ACS), and Indian Society for the Study of Lung Cancer ( ISSLC ) to host a conference on Tobacco Control with special emphasis on the management of Lung Cancers which is now emerging as a major health problem. The conference aims to bring out the present status of evidence on Tobacco Control and Lung Cancer management.
The meeting is focused at tobacco control activists, public health professionals, clinical oncologists, pulmonologists, pathologists, and postgraduate students.
The faculty will consist of prominent International and National leaders in the field of Tobacco Control and Lung Cancer. The biennial conference of the Indian Society for the Study of Lung Cancer ( ISSLC ) will also be held with this meeting.
The Indian Society for the Study of Lung Cancer ( ISSLC ) Oration will be on 27th February 2007.
The Hospital Day Oration will be held on 28th February 2007.
